Mapping panel important notes

It’s important to note that when creating a formula that involves mathematical functions, you must use the operators listed at the bottom of that section. If you try to type in an equal symbol, a division symbol or a multiplication symbol, as you can see on the left, your formula is probably not going to behave as expected or produce an error. The good side shows how to use an equal, division or multiplication symbol from the mapping panel to get the appropriate response.

The same applies when needing an empty string or a space operator in your formulas. If you don’t type anything or try typing in a space, it won’t behave as expected and potentially give you an error. It’s best to use those operators and pull them from the mapping panel. -
