Now, if you’re like me and you can’t even remember where you parked your car this morning, let alone remember the name of every task that you’re working on, don’t fret. Use the command forward slash WF search and then a keyword to search Workfront for any work item that contains those keywords in its title or description. So in this case, I’m going to type prize and then narrow down the search to tasks. And here’s the task I was looking for. Right clicking on the title gives you the option to copy the link to that item. That way I can copy the link and paste it in a team member’s chat window to give them quick access to that task specific page in Workfront. When I paste and send the link, different options like subscribe or assign to user become available. All right, by now you should be set up in Slack with the Workfront plugin and ready to go.
