  • Access your to-do list in Workfront

Now that you’ve been introduced to the magic of the Workfront for Slack integration, let’s take a look at how you can see your assignments by typing in the command backslash wf home. Here I can see what I’ve been assigned to work on. Clicking on the task button shows the task you’ve been assigned to. Here’s my course curriculum development task, for example. I can click work on it whenever I’m ready to start that task. I’ve done some work on the course curriculum development task, so I’d like to update that in Workfront so my team knows where it’s at. You have a couple of options here. I can change the status and or log time for the task. I can even click the title to go to the task in Workfront so I can make an update. But what if I made an update about the task in Slack and want that in Workfront too? No problem. Find the Slack update, click the three dots to the right, and select post an update. You still need to select what project, task, or issue it should be attached to, and who if anyone needs to be notified. But once you hit post, it’ll be sent to and recorded in Workfront as well. Thanks for listening!
