Review and Respond to Proof Comments In this video, you will learn how to View and respond to comments in the Proof Viewer View proof comments in the Updates section and Respond to proof comments from the Updates section Workfront’s Proof Viewer is a collaboration tool, allowing multiple people to review the proof and make comments at the same time. Comments are added to the proof in real-time, providing visibility into the work. As a project manager or proof manager, you can open the Proof Viewer to review the comments and answer questions or provide additional information. Click the Open Proof link in the documents list or open the proof from where you have access, such as an email notification or Workfront home. Scroll through the comments column to see what the reviewers are saying. When you click on a comment card, the corresponding markup on the proof is highlighted. If you see a question that needs to be answered or have additional information to offer, click the Reply button to start a comment thread. However, you don’t have to open the Proof Viewer every time you want to review the proof comments. Workfront makes those easily accessible in the Updates section of the proof. To see the most recent comments, select the proof in the documents list and open the Summary panel. Comments made in the Proof Viewer are labeled Proof Comment to distinguish them from other communications on the file. To see all comments, open the document details and go to the Updates section. Look for that Proof Comment indicator on the comments. If you need to reply to a comment, click the Reply and Proof button to open the Proofing Viewer. This takes you to the comment card so you can add your update.
