In this video, you will learn how to find incoming and existing work assignments and review assignment information. With a morning coffee or diet soda in hand, you log into Workfront and spend a few minutes reviewing and organizing your to-do list to make the most of your day. Thankfully, everything you need is right here in your work list in Workfront Home. You and your team work on important initiatives, deliverables, projects, and even ad hoc work. As assignments are made to you, they appear in the work list. These tasks require your particular skill set. Scroll through the work list to see what’s new. Anything you haven’t seen, like this assignment to design an eBook, is in bold and has a blue dot. Your work list provides basic information about each assignment. Things like name of the assignment, the project it comes from, and if the work is ready to start, meaning predecessor tasks have been completed. Dig deeper into the assignment by selecting it. That opens a panel on the right where you may see all of the information you need to complete the work. If you need more details, just click on the task name. As you review the assignment, preview any files that are already attached. These could be rough drafts of copy, budget forms, or a copy of a contract. Simply click to take a closer look. If anyone has posted updates or additional information about the assignment, you’ll find that in the update feed below. Thank you for watching.
