There are a number of templates provided out of the box that you can use as is or customized to your liking. Templates can also be created and managed within AEM Forms Designer. To create a new form from a template, go to the File menu, click New, a wizard will appear. Here you are presented with a number of options. You can start with a blank page, template, spreadsheet, PDF, or Microsoft Word file. Click on template, then next. As you can see, there are plenty of templates that are available for you out of the box. A template provides the basic structure of the form design and contains predefined file creation information that Designer applies to the form design. In this template, you can add your company name, logo, and a number of other information associated with this template. Once all prompts are answered, you can use the form as is or make changes as appropriate to your business needs. If you have PDF forms that were created in Acrobat or other applications, you can import them as background artwork. After you import the PDF forms, you can add objects to make them interactive. Here in this case, we have an unlocked interactive PDF file that we can import. As you can see, all the elements come over automatically. Changes can now be made to this form as appropriate to your business requirements.
