Hello everyone, in this video we will discuss about how to run ProcessPerch tool from command line. The ProcessPerch tool is located under foundation folder of AEM Forms root directory. So we will access the purge tool via command line. Type the command having the URL pointing to root of lifecycle server, username and password, process details such as process name, process version, the age of process to be purged, and the process status which has three arguments. First, completed only. Here completed application processes will be purged. Second, terminated only. Here the terminated application processes will be purged. And last, completed or terminated. Here all the application processes completed or terminated will be purged. Last argument is include children. If it is specified, it will also purge all the child processes. Let’s take this example. This command purges all instances of version 3 of this application, that is address change request, including child processes that were completed but not terminated 30 days ago and satisfy the filter expression specified. On running this command, once the server logs have stabilized, data for this application will be purged from database. So this is how you can run process purge tool from command line. Thank you.
