Transcript
Hello everyone, in this video we will be looking at the steps to tweak parameters in the JMX console. In the last video, we created a management user and successfully signed into the JBoss admin console. Firstly, we need to scroll down to the bottom and select the tools dropdown. Out of the two options, choose management model. After that, we need to navigate to the remoting connector folder and set the use management endpoint to true. To launch the Java monitoring and management console, traverse to the JBoss bin folder and run the Jconsole.bat script. After that, simply paste the connection string to connect to Java monitoring and management console. Now navigate to mbeans and expand XML form service. Then we need to click on attributes. Now we can reconfigure any of the attributes. Let’s say we reconfigure the PDFL memory size. Now I will change the PDFL memory size from 1024 to 2048. Simply refresh the server to update the changes. Please note that once we refresh the server, we do not need to restart the server as the configurations will be updated at runtime. Thank you.
