Today I’m going to show you how to use templates in Adobe Express. Templates are a fantastic way to create on-brand content quickly and efficiently across your entire organization. Whether you’re a professional designer or just getting started, Adobe Express makes it easy for everyone to create stunning content. Now different teams in your organization such as social media, marketing, and HR all have various content needs. The challenge is maintaining brand compliance across these teams. Let’s see how Adobe Express helps all your teams create more on-brand content. In this example, I’m a marketer at Friscopa that needs to create new social media assets. Brand kits in Adobe Express can help me do this quickly. A brand kit includes all the elements of your brand, including logos, fonts, colors, media, assets, and templates, giving all the teams in your organization one central place to access and create on-brand content. These on-brand templates were created by Friscopa’s graphic designers. These templates are locked, providing guardrails to stay on-brand. But I can still create new content without any bottlenecks. Let’s create some fresh new content based on this ad here. On the left are all your tools, including text, media, and Friscopa’s brand kit, which gives me access to approved on-brand fonts, logos, and colors. This is a locked template, so I’m able to only change certain elements. If I select the logo, you can see a lot preventing me from editing the graphic. The brand team that created this template locked this element, so I can only change unlocked elements. When I select the text for the header, I can edit the text, but I’m limited to only approved fonts and colors. This gives me guardrails to ensure I stay on-brand. Next, I want to swap out the T-Can image for a different product. To ensure I’m using the latest approved product images from the brand team, I’ll access my brand kit, and I can simply drag and drop the new product right on the existing image. It’s that easy. Next, I want to reuse this design in a different size variation. Normally, this would require hours of work looking to find new background images that are correctly sized for various social media platforms. But with resize and generative extend, I can easily resize this ad. On the left are common size formats for different platforms. When you resize, Firefly and generative AI are used to understand the context of the design. See how it’s extending out the image to the specific dimensions you choose? Previously, none of the content on the left even existed, but now the new area is filled with similar imagery. That’s the power of Firefly, making it easy to make tedious size adjustments on the fly. Next, I want to reuse this ad in regions with different languages. Once again, Adobe Express makes this easy with the translation tool. There are over 40 different languages that you can choose from here. I’m going to go ahead and pick French, German, Greek, Italian, and Japanese. I can select the tone of voice, formal or informal, and then select translate. This translates the text in this design to a variety of different languages. Now that the translations are complete, I still want my team to review and approve this content, which I can easily do by going up to share here. I can share this ad with different teams by simply entering their email address to get feedback. And each one of those team members can also add comments to review. In a comment, you can simply add text, and you can also use the ad symbol to specifically mention a person. You can also use emojis, or you can use the pen to select precisely where you want to locate the comment on the document. When you use comments, you can have a conversation right within your file, even when you’re still editing it. So they can happen simultaneously, making it easy to collaborate with other teams. And then once you’re ready, you can also go up to share to share this asset to a different cloud platform, whether it’s Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, your asset management system, Adobe Experience Manager, or any other systems. You can also share or schedule the content to different social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. So start creating your templates today and see the difference it makes in maintaining brand consistency. Thanks for watching.
