Adding audio to your animations
Learn how to create engaging and memorable projects by adding audio–including royalty free stock audio files available with Express.
Transcript
In this section, we will look at how we can add audio to our animation.
To do that, I can go to Media and select the Audio tab. Obviously you can choose to upload audio from your own device, or you can choose any of these royalty-free stock audio files available with Express. You can introduce audio to the animation by grabbing it and dragging it onto my timeline. You can preview the audio file by pressing play.
You can also reduce the volume from the left-hand panel.
Alternatively, we can record a voiceover. You’ll have to make sure that you give Adobe Express permission to utilize your microphone before you can proceed. As you can see now, it’s picking up my voice and I can start recording. If you accidentally overrun, don’t worry, because you can easily shorten that to the edge of that scene and then delete that section over there.
You can also tweak the overall volume of your voiceover from the left panel. The voiceover can also be recorded across multiple scenes and extended beyond. You can also extend the music track to go across both scenes.
