Learn how to create a web form that can transform outdated educational manual paper-based processes. This example showcases how to create a web form that automates a complex internship application workflow with multiple unknown signers. It provides a positive experience to both employees and students. Let’s walk through the creation of this internship application web form. We start by selecting Publish a Web Form and then enter official title for the form. For the internship application process, students need to send their forms to two participants, their faculty supervisor and department head. So, we’re going to add two participants and then include instructions for each one. Next, we’ll add a CC so that the academic department receives notification of each request. Then, we’ll add our form, which can be in a variety of file formats. This one is in Word file format. And the file is stored in the cloud. But you could also grab files that are stored in a variety of other locations like OneDrive or Dropbox. Next, we’ll move into the authoring process. Using the power of Adobe Sensei, Adobe’s AI platform, automatic field detection is enabled to fill in all the available fields. Because participant one won’t be filling in all the fields, we need to make some adjustments. We’re going to add some more text fields for participant one. And notice that the fields are color-coded for each participant. For example, participant one is color-coded pink. Next, we’ll set up fields for participant two. In this case, the faculty supervisor. First, we’ll select participant two in the top right panel. And then we’ll add four different text fields and then a signature field. Notice again how the fields are color-coded with brown to identify them as participant two fields. And then finally, we’ll add participant three fields. In this case, this is the department head. So we’ll select participant three again in the right-hand pane and add the fields to the appropriate area of the form. And once the web form is saved, it’s ready to be shared. There are two options to share a web form via URL link or by embedding a form into a website. AcrobatSign web forms deliver a smooth, modern experience for students and faculty. All while enjoying top security and complying to the strictest global requirements.
