Learn how to connect Journey Optimizer to an MMS service provider and how to create an MMS channel surface.
Transcript
Hi, this is Mike Maffeo and I’m here to talk to you about MMS support for Synch, Twilio, and Infobip. These are all the SMS providers that we support out of the box in SMS and they all have support for MMS. Based on the provider that you have for SMS, there’s a couple different ways that you would need to configure MMS. We’re going to walk through the method if you use Synch where you need to create a new MMS configuration. To go ahead and support Synch, you first need to go into Channels, go to API Configurations and say create an API configuration here. You’ll check the Synch MMS pull-down and then fill out all the information that it’s asking for in this screen. The configuration information here is all given to you by Synch and your provider. So after you’ve set up the API configurations, you need to go and create a channel surface. And here you would go ahead and give it a name, you would choose SMS, you’d find the API configuration that you’ve just set up, and then you would go ahead and save this off. Thank you!
