Transcript
Adobe Journey Optimizer customers have the capability of exporting system-generated datasets, like the AJO Email Tracking Experience Event dataset, from Journey Optimizer to a cloud storage destination. In this video, you will learn how to export a dataset to an Amazon S3 destination. To do this, in Adobe Journey Optimizer, on the left navigation, navigate to destinations. On the catalog tab, select the destination you want to export the dataset to. I will select Amazon S3. I will actually search for it. You see two cards. I will select the Amazon S3 beta card and click the setup button. If you have not yet configured your Amazon S3 connection, you would be redirected to a screen that allows you to configure the connection. If the connection, however, is configured, you will see this screen directly. You will need to select the data type up here, called datasets. Next, I will need to pick a configuration for this specific activation. And I will pick the test dataset. As you can see, a list of datasets that you can send will appear. This is where you would select your AJO Email Tracking Experience Event dataset to export all the clicks and opens from AJO. But since I’m on a test system, I’ll just select some of our test datasets.
Next, I will schedule the export. The export can be set to export incremental files, which I will do. And it can be scheduled to execute either daily. In that case, the export runs once a day, every day, at a time you specify. Or, you can set it to hourly, starting at a time you specify. You will need to define the increments as well. The options are 3 hours, 6, 8, or 12 hours. Once you’re satisfied with your schedule, hit next. On this screen, you can review your settings. You can see the connection, as well as the datasets that you’ve selected and the scheduling. And when you’re satisfied, click finish to activate. And that’s it! You’re all set. Thank you for watching!
