Music One of the most common use cases for workflows is getting approval for content changes. An author makes a change and someone is notified that the change needs to be reviewed and approved. Traditionally these activities have been handled within your content management system, which would fire off an email or internal notification to alert the approver that a change needs to be addressed. Edge delivery, document authoring, upends this thinking and leverages the tools already inside SharePoint or Google Drive, rather than recreating this functionality in a CMS. An author can simply mention a reviewer in document comments which trigger standard Microsoft or Google notifications. Users with appropriate access can then redline or make changes right inside the document. Collaboration and content approvals are easy. For more complicated workflows, those that go farther than content reviews and approvals, an external workflow solution can be used. Adobe recommends Workfront for these types of workflows, which allows you to add more complicated business logic.
