Let’s talk about auditing with Edge delivery. For those of you who are seasoned content management veterans, we’ve changed the way we think about content auditing, rollbacks, and change tracking. Rather than recreate the wheel in a CMS, let’s leverage the tools that already exist, and you’re probably already familiar with. Both SharePoint and Google Drive, which is where content is stored, have incredibly solid audit information when you look at a version of a document. For example, in MS Word, we can go to the version panel. Word tells you when something changed, who changed it, and even the exact change that was made. From there, it’s only a few button clicks to review these changes, or even roll back to a prior version. Content auditing couldn’t be easier in Edge delivery.
