AEM and target are both robust solutions but seamlessly overlapping capabilities. Customers sometimes struggle with understanding how and when to use these products in conjunction to deliver a personalized experience. To provide an optimized experience for every end user different teams within your organization should work closely and define who does what. In this video, we covered three different AEM and target scenarios which helps you understand what works best for your organization and how other teams collaborate. Let’s take a closer look at each scenario. For scenario one, we’re going to use AEM and target. Both products have their strength. When it comes to delivering personalized experience to your site users, you need personalized content and an intelligent way to serve these content based on a specific user. Using experience fragments in AEM content can easily be authored using existing assets and exported to Adobe target as HTML or JSON offers. Target lets you deliver these offers at scale based on a combination of rule-based and AI driven machine learning approaches that incorporate behavior, contextual and offline variables. To implement the scenario, you need to integrate AEM and Adobe target using launch and Adobe IO. We also need to set up AEM and Adobe target using legacy or cloud service. Scenario two, personalization using visual experience composer. Marketers can make quick changes on their website without changing any code to run a test using the Adobe Target visual experience composer. The VEC is what you see is what you get user interface that lets you easily create and test personalized experiences and offers in the site’s context. You can create experiences and offers for target activities, by dragging and dropping, snapping and modifying the layout and content of a webpage or mobile webpage. VEC is one of the main features of Adobe target. The VEC lets marketers and designers create and change content using a visual interface. Many design choices can be made without requiring direct editing of the code. Editing HTML and JavaScript is also possible using the editing options available in the composer. To implement the scenario, you need to integrate AEM and Adobe target using launch and Adobe IO. Scenario three, personalization of full-page experiences. Integrating Adobe Experience Manager with Adobe target helps you deliver a personalized experience to your site users. Additionally, it also helps you better understand what versions of your website content best improves your conversions during a specific task speed.
