Transcript
Hello, everyone. In this video, we will show you how to add dynamic media component on AEM Sites page. To add the dynamic media functionality to assets you use on your websites, you can add the dynamic media component directly on the page. These components are smart, and they know whether you are adding an image or a video and the configuration options available change accordingly. Go to AEM homepage and click on sites. Select the page where you want to add the dynamic media component and click on edit option at the top of the page. Select edit template option from the page information dropdown menu. Near the bottom of the page, tap layout container to open its toolbar, then tap the policy icon. On the layout container page under the properties heading, make sure that the allowed components tab is selected. In this section, check the dynamic media box to enable the dynamic media component. Once done, click on check mark icon at the upper right corner of the page. Refresh the page, click on drag components here option and tap the plus icon. Select dynamic media from the dropdown list. Drag a dynamic media component that you want to use and drop it in the desired location on the page. Tap on the component to display the components tool bar, and then click on configuration icon. Depending on the dynamic media component you dropped onto the page, a configuration dialog box opens. You can set the components option as necessity. Then you are finished, tap the check mark icon in the upper right corner of the dialog box to save your changes. This is how you can enable and add dynamic media component on AEM Sites page.
