Search is at the heart of Experience Manager assets, empowering users to quickly locate and reuse assets. Users frequently face challenges in applying the right filters or locating saved searches, resulting in multiple clicks and extended search times, detracting from the optimal search experience. This is where Contextual Search comes in, a revolutionary approach to asset discovery within AM assets. This innovative feature leverages natural language queries, allowing users to articulate their search intent effortlessly. No more searching for a term and then toggling filters. Simply type your query in natural language, such as, I need images for surfing that are approved and expire next month. And watch as Contextual Search automatically applies the relevant filters, delivering precise results in seconds. Contextual Search seamlessly integrates with AM assets’ existing filters. So, based on the Contextual Search of, I need images of surfing that are approved and expire next month, the File Type filter is set to Images, the Full Text Search is set to Surfing, the Asset Status filter is set to Approve, and the Expiration Date filter is set to Next Month. Contextual Search can be decomposed into other filters as well, such as image dimensions, file types, creation and modification dates, MIME types, or the other filters. With Contextual Search, users can effortlessly specify their requirements, whether it’s finding images of specific dimensions, documents approved this year, or assets uploaded today.
