Today, we’ll explore how AM Assets seamlessly integrates with edge delivery services to efficiently deliver content to your customers. We’ll begin our journey in AM Assets, the central hub for managing your organization’s digital assets. Within AM Assets, we’ll handpick a few images and mark them as approved, granting them the green light to be used on our website. Normally, dedicated teams manage assets and grant approvals for web experience teams. However, for demonstration purposes, we’ll have the same user approve the asset and use it in a web experience. Next, let’s transition to a new browser and assume the role of a web experience author. Using the AM Sidekick, I can open our live website for editing. Since this site employs document-based authoring, it opens the document used to manage the content for this specific page. Within this document, I’ll select My Assets from the AM Sidekick. Our development team has thoughtfully configured this feature to enable asset selection from AM Assets. This action opens the Asset Selector panel. After logging in, I gain access to a fully browsable and searchable view of AM Assets. Let’s locate the asset we want to use and select it. Now, with this image from AM Assets in hand, we can effortlessly paste it wherever we desire within the document. In this instance, we’ll place it in the left column beside the Angel’s Landing text. With the AM Assets image seamlessly added to our page, we can preview it. And voila, our AM Assets image is now a part of our web experience. How straightforward was that? Before we conclude, let’s ensure that this addition hasn’t adversely affected our site’s performance. We can publish the change, and copy the site’s URL and assess the updated experience.
