In this video, we’ll take a look at how a marketer for Weekend uses Content Hub to create marketing collateral for the Experience Iceland Adventure campaign. The catch? The campaign visuals are needed today. Luckily, a little while ago, a Weekend Brand Manager uploaded a set of approved images for this campaign and tagged them with metadata, so we can find exactly what we need, fast. Let’s take a look at how they did it. The Weekend Brand Manager started by uploading photos from Content Hub. Alternatively, the photographer from the agency could have been given an account and uploaded these images themselves. While they used local files in this case, assets could just as easily have been pulled from Dropbox or another supported file share. Prior to upload, they were prompted to enter metadata to ensure the assets would be easily discoverable. Thanks to Content Hub’s flexible metadata model, they could select from existing values or add new ones on the fly. Administrators can define exactly what metadata should be collected by Content Hub based on their business’s unique needs. After filling out the appropriate metadata, the assets were ready to upload. After a few moments of processing, the uploaded assets become available in Content Hub. Once uploaded, the assets can also be organized into collections, a powerful, ad hoc way to group assets together for easy access. They created a collection for this Iceland Adventure campaign by selecting the relevant assets and adding them, in this case, to a new collection called Experience Iceland Adventure. Sure, they could have filtered by campaign metadata, but collections offer more flexibility. For example, they can include other standard brand assets that aren’t explicitly tagged for the campaign, but still relevant, like the Weeknd logo. Doing this, everything needed for the campaign is in one easy-to-find place. Okay, jumping back to the present, let’s build out the Experience Iceland campaign collateral and get this thing launched. Content Hub makes finding the right marketing materials a breeze. Since our Content Hub requires uploaded assets to have a campaign, we can filter by that to find all the assets for the campaign and, most importantly, ensure they’re on-brand and approved for use. Of course, filters can be combined or used with search terms to narrow down our options even further, making finding exactly what we want simple and fast. Or we can browse the curated collections, in our case, the Experience Iceland Adventure collection. With Content Hub search and collections, the right assets are just a few clicks away. Now that we’ve got what we need, it’s go time. We can download assets directly to our machine, so we can use them in other channels and applications, or seamlessly access them in Adobe tools like Gen Studio for Performance Marketing or Adobe Journey Optimizer. One of my favorite options? Opening the asset directly in Adobe Express, where we can remix it for just about any channel. For example, we can use Adobe Express’s intuitive, yet powerful editing tools to create a social post for Instagram. First, we’ll resize the asset for an Instagram story. Our canvas changes to the correct size, and Adobe Firefly uses generative fill to add missing background. Adobe Express has the ability to set up brands, which define things like colors, fonts, and logos. We can use the weekend brand in Express to grab the logo and place it on our image. Next, let’s add some text and provide a tagline for the Experience Iceland Adventure. We can use the brand to ensure the correct font is used. And there we go! When we’re happy with the design, we save it back to AEM Assets Content Hub. Similar to the Upload Assets experience, we’re prompted to provide metadata to make sure the new remixed asset is properly categorized and discoverable in Content Hub. Once the asset is saved back to Content Hub, we can download it and use it in our campaign. And just like that, we’ve got a branded social post ready to go in minutes. With AEM Assets Content Hub, finding and using brand-approved assets is effortless, and getting campaigns out the door is faster than ever. When paired with Adobe’s suite of marketing tools, we’re set up to create on-brand, high-impact campaigns in minutes.
