In this video, we’ll explore how to switch views in AEM Assets as a cloud service. Switching views not only enhances your asset management experience, but also offers a more streamlined and simplified approach. Let’s dive in and see how this feature can make your asset management more efficient. First, open the main screen of AEM as a cloud service and navigate to Assets. Here you’ll find options like Files, Collections, and Insights. Each of these serves as a starting point for managing your digital assets, offering unique tools and insights tailored to your needs. From any of these options, switching views is straightforward. Look to the top right of your screen and click on your profile picture. In the drop-down menu, you’ll find the Switch View option. When you select Switch View, AEM Assets transitions to a more simplified, streamlined asset management experience. This view is intentionally designed for ease of use, allowing for you to focus on what’s important, managing your assets efficiently. Wondering how to revert to the original view? It’s just as easy. Simply go to your profile and select Switch View again. This feature’s flexibility enables you to tailor your asset management experience to suit your current requirements. An important feature to note as you switch back is that you are returned to the same active folder you were in in the previous view. Regardless of whether you are in the simplified view or the original, AEM maintains your folder context.
