Add a preheader to an email
A preheader is a short text that follows the subject line when viewing an email from any major email client.
In many cases, it provides a short summary of the content, and is typically one sentence long.
To define the email preheader, follow the steps below.
-
From the Email Designer, add at least a Structure component to start designing your email.
-
Click the Navigation tree icon from the left pane, and select Body.
-
From the Settings tab, enter some text for your preheader.
-
To further personalize it, click the Add personalization icon to the left of the Preheader field.
-
From the Edit Personalization window, add personalization fields, expression fragments, and conditional content using the dedicated entries on the left.
-
Click Confirm.
Your preheader is now configured for your email.
