In Adobe Campaign Web, a profile is a record stored in the database, serving as a key component to create audiences for deliveries and add personalization data to your content. Various types of profiles are stored in the database, such as Test profiles, which are designed to test your deliveries before they are sent to the final audience.

Audiences are sets of profiles who share similar behaviors and characteristics. This collection of profiles can either be generated, selected, or loaded. Once created, audiences can be used as the target population of your deliveries.

In addition, Adobe Campaign Web is used to manage and create services, such as newsletters, and to check the subscriptions or unsubscriptions to these services. After completing these tasks, you can add subscribers, unsubscribe profiles, and send messages to the subscribers of your services.

With this understanding of Adobe Campaign Web’s capabilities, explore the documentation sections to start working with it.
