This video provides an in-depth explanation of the Lead Creation Model.
Transcript
John came to your website through an organic Google search. That search was the first touch. John now fills out a form or somehow provides his information on your website. He is now a lead. The act of submitting the form is the lead creation touch point. Another example is the attendee form that you collect and upload to your CRM after an offline campaign. If John attended one of those offline events and filled out a form there, the event is attributed the lead creation touch point. In the lead creation model, the form fill touch point is given 100% of the revenue attribution.
