The accounts with lead and contact report relies on combining data from the lead and account objects, an option that’s not possible right now with Salesforce alone. Bizible combines leads and account in three ways. First, Bizible maps accounts and leads by matching the domain in the email address to the domain name of the website on the account. Second, if the lead’s email address matches the contacts email address, Bizible connects them so that they share the touchpoints. And finally, Bizible is able to match the company’s name on the lead to the accounts name. This is called fuzzy matching. Bizible has created a stock report for reuse. Go to the Reports tab and type Bizible in the Folders search box, then navigate to Accounts with Leads & Contacts report. The report is really simple. It combines the lead and contact objects with the lead’s information to the left, contact information to the right, all grouped in aggregate by the account ID. Obviously, this matching is based on data provided by the user, and that’s it.
