Additional Salesforce Reports

This lesson covers custom attribution reports in Salesforce CRM.

Transcript
In addition to the stock Salesforce reports, many customers create custom Salesforce reports to supplement the stock Bizible Salesforce reports. In this lesson, we will briefly cover different report types, when you may want to use each of them, and where you can find detailed instructions so you can create these reports yourself.
Reporting on opportunities with or without Bizible attribution touchpoints.
Sometimes, you may want to view all of your opportunities in Salesforce, not just the ones that may or may not have BATs. This report shows you all of the opportunities in one single place. Closed lost opportunities by marketing channel. Create this report if you want to know which marketing channels contributed to lost opportunities. The data in this report might depend on your opportunity stages. Contacts without opportunities. This report shows you contact data for contacts not associated with an opportunity. Remember that Bizible only creates BATs after an opportunity has been created. So if you want to just report on contacts, well, you know where to go.
Duplicate records. As you dive into the Bizible reports in Salesforce, you may start to find records that appear to be duplicates in your reports. In some cases, these are not duplicates but rather different touchpoints for the same contact. For example, this is a contact with Bizible touchpoints report. Again, this means that we’re looking at the count of touchpoints associated to an individual contact. As you can see, it looks like there are three James Williams contacts in the report, which you may think are duplicates. These are not duplicates but rather touchpoints related to James.
So those are some of the additional custom reports that you can create in Salesforce.
