This reduces human made errors. We’re not talking about auto tagging in your Google AdWords. We are talking about auto generating the UTMs that you’ll use to create manual tags in the Google AdWords platform. Second, you should really pay attention to spelling, and keep it simple by not using any special characteristics and values. Third, be sure to make the parameters for each ad as unique as possible. It is okay to have the same medium or channel, source or sub-channel, ad campaign or ad, but be sure that your term and or content parameters are unique. Lastly, be consistent in your naming convention, and be sure to document your tags in a spreadsheet.
