Transcript

In this tutorial, we’re going to create a touchpoint report on an account. In this tutorial, we’re going to create a touchpoint report on an account. This report pulls data from both the lead and account objects and matches the information via a shared account.

To create a report, let’s hop on Salesforce. The first thing we need to do is go to reports. In the search box, type the word Bizible to make it easier to find a folder. Since this is an account-based marketing report, click on that folder. From the list of stock reports, choose the Touchpoint Per Account report.

The report combines and displays data from the lead and in contact objects. Data from the lead object is on the left and data from the contact object is on the right. All information is organized by the shared account ID. This display serves in part as a visualization of an individual’s journey from lead to contact. You can also see activities by other contacts on the same account.

This helps answer the question of how active the account is and could inform your strategy in engaging accounts with a low number of touchpoints. Some records will have no leads but will have contact data and vice versa.

If there is a match between a lead’s information and contact’s information, the touchpoints generated by that individual will count only once for reporting purposes.
