Using Marketo Measure as an Email Marketer
This lesson provides a quick demonstration of how Email Marketers might use Marketo Measure in their job role.
Using Bizible as an email marketer gives you unprecedented visibility into the impact that your emails are having on generating leads, form fills, opportunities, and revenue. Trying to figure out which emails are resonating with prospects can be difficult, and A/B testing can only take you so far. In this lesson, we look at a few ways that you can use Bizible to measure the impact that your emails are having at every stage of the sales funnel. First, let’s see how you can use Bizible Discover to measure how your emails are impacting prospects.
Navigate to the Overview board, open up your filter settings and select the channel where your emails are located. In this case, it’s BDR. Select email as the sub-channel and click run. The resulting graph here is showing key metrics related to the impact that emails are having on things like revenue, opportunities, deals, and pipeline, depending on the metric selected in the filter menu.
Another way that you can see which emails are performing best in Bizible Discover is by going to the Ads ROI board. In the filter menu, select the channel and sub-channel your emails are located. Again, in this case it’s BDR and email. Click run and scroll down to the creative ROI summary. Here, we can see all the emails that your team has been using and which ones have been the most successful in generating revenue.
Lastly, let’s open up Salesforce, and see how we can attribute a dollar amount to a specific email.
Under reports, type in 101 and pull up the Opportunity by ID report.
This report shows you all of the touchpoints that have contributed to an opportunity. Here we can see what impact our emails have had simply by searching for the relevant campaign. If we pull up a touchpoint, we can see the dollar amount attributed to that email and even the subject line, if it was sent by your BDR or SDR team.
