Setup and install your chatbot

A guide to help you install chatbot JavaScript onto your website or landing page and customize its look to match your brand.

Before you can publish your first dialogue. There are a few setup tasks you’ll need to complete. First, you’ll need to initiate the synchronization of data from your Marketo Instance. Simply navigate to the Integrations page in Dynamic Chat and click the Initiate Sync button.
Select up to 50 standard or custom fields from your Marketo Instance to sync with Dynamic Chat for use in audience targeting, data mapping, and personalization. Review your selections and click the confirm button to initiate the sync.
Depending on the size of your database, this operation could take up to 24 hours to complete. Next, you’ll want to configure the styling of your Chatbot. Navigate to the Configuration tab where you can select the color scheme, font, position and Avatar styling that the visitors on your website will see when they interact with your Chatbot.
Then you’ll need to install the Dynamic Chat JavaScript Snippet on your website.
Simply navigate to the Installation page, and copy the JavaScript Snippet, then add it to the common HTML template of your site. You may require assistance from your web or IT team for this task. You can also install the Snippet on any Marketo Landing Page by simply adding it to the Custom Head HTML of the page, Meta Tags.
And finally, you’ll need to connect your Marketo Instance to your Adobe Org. To do this, simply log in to Scroll to the bottom of the page and copy the Org ID.
