Learn how to configure your Interactive Webinars event before delivery to suit the objective of the webinar and ensure the delivery is effective enough to engage the participants to generate interest and solicit intent for the brand, product, services. etc.

In this video, you can see how a Marketo user can configure an interactive webinar that has been created through the creation of the interactive webinar event program. On this screen, you can see that next to event link, there is a button named Design your webinar. On clicking this button, design your webinar, another tab opens up which shows the Adobe Connect interface that will help you configure the interactive webinar. Now once this screen opens up, you can see that you can select a particular room which is an encapsulation of where you will actually deliver your webinar. Now you can see that when I click on the select room, there are existing rooms that are present. I can either choose one of those rooms or I can select an entirely new webinar room. When I select an entirely new webinar room, I can select a template that can be applied to that room. Now this template is a way in which you represent various sections on the screen of your room. Let us select a template based on the objective of the webinar. There are four templates, product showcase, thought leadership, workshop session and starter template. Let me choose a thought leadership template. Now you can see that I get a preview of how my webinar room would look like if I select a thought leadership template. I can choose to use this template or I can select another template. Let us say I click on use template to choose this particular template. Now I can decide to further configure this room by clicking on the refine your webinar now or I can choose to do this later. When I click on refine your webinar now, I actually enter the room in which I will be delivering my webinar. You can see that the actual room has opened up and I can configure the layout and the look and feel of how the room would look like when I’m actually delivering the webinar. You can see on the right hand side, there are multiple layouts. I can choose and switch between different layouts during different points in time during the delivery of my webinar. Say I start with the lobby. Then once I have the participants ready, I can switch to speaker intro. Once I’m done with that, I can start with a panel discussion. Once I’m done with that, I’ll wrap up the discussion. Now you can see that I can choose different elements that I can place on my screen. There is share, there is notes, there is video, chat, files, web links, poll, Q&A, quiz and so on. Let’s say I want to add a poll. I click on poll, add new poll. Say I want to say when do you anticipate using the interactive webinar capabilities. Say in one week, more than a week. So I have actually created a poll and I can place it wherever I want. So once the time comes when I deliver the actual webinar, I can readjust my pods and change the layout. You can see that I am moving the entire layout and I’m actually modifying the layout to configure how my screen would look to my participants. I can add another layout if I choose to. Now, while delivering the webinar, I can also see that there’s a host and presenter area and I can configure this area. Say I don’t need notes, I’ll remove it. I don’t need an engagement dashboard. I can remove that as well. And I can increase the chat section. So a lot can be done on the Adobe Connect interface for configuring your webinar. Once you’re done configuring the webinar, you can just exit the room. Once this is done, you can close this tab and you can refresh the Marketo Engage tab. The Design your webinar button will switch to Enter your webinar button, which means that when the time has come to deliver your webinar, you can actually go and click on Enter your webinar to deliver it. In case you still have some doubts and want to change the configuration, you can still do so by clicking on Change Room slash Template. That’s all about the configuration of interactive webinars.
