Learn how to set up an Event Program allowing you to create and schedule Interactive Webinars events in Marketo Engage.

In this video, we’ll see how a marketer user who has been given access to interactive webinars can create an interactive webinar event program. The marketer user can click on marketing activities, select the folder in which the event program needs to be created, right click the folder and select new program and enter all the details related to the interactive webinar event program. Now here, I select the name as interactive webinars demo. I select the program type as event and I select the channel as webinar. Once the channel is selected as webinar, I get two options. One is for interactive webinars and the second one for partner webinars. Now the partner webinars is the traditional launch point event program creation which a marketer user can perform with different webinar providers such as zoom on 24 go to webinar and so on. Whereas interactive webinars is the native integration that has been recently launched by marketer to provide a more seamless event program creation. Now once all the details have been filled, I can click on next and you can see that I can schedule the webinar right from within marketer without having to switch to the webinar providers interface. I enter the maximum audience capacity which is the maximum number of participants that can attend the webinar. Say I select 500, I select the duration of the webinar, say I select two hours, I can select the start time and the date of the webinar and start creating my event. One thing you may notice is the time zone here would be the time zone of the marketer user that has been configured in the admin. On clicking create you can see that on the right canvas I can see that the interactive webinar event program has been created and the details are present in the overview screen. A webinar has been simultaneously created in Adobe Connect without you having to move to the Adobe Connects interface screen. That’s it for the interactive webinar event program creation.
