In this video, I will show you how Engagement Map helps you understand deeply nested campaigns so you can gain better visibility into the entire customer journey. I’m going to Marketing Activities and navigate to my new prospects campaign. I click on the Engagement Map button so I can quickly review the visualization of the campaign and the campaigns which are nested within it. Let’s take a look at an example of a Smart Campaign which is calling another Smart Campaign. This Flowstep is an execute campaign which could be calling one or more campaigns. When I click on the Flowstep card, I can see all the choice conditions which will be applied. I have leads come in based on a form fill so they are part of choice one. I have a different set of leads who opened an email so they are part of choice two. I can click on the choice one card which displays the details of the execute campaign that I just called. Here you can see the filters and flowsteps which in this case is send email and change program status. In the slide out panel, I can see the details of the choice and I can select the edit choice button if I want to make any modifications. If I need to see if there are any other campaigns which call this execute campaign, I can click the View List button. This brings up a list of the campaigns and I can select any of them to open the campaign and review its details. Now that I have expanded choice one, I can see there is an error in the send email flowstep. To correct this error, I can select the link to this execute campaign in the slide out panel. This opens the engagement map for the execute campaign. If I want to compare the different conditions, I can click on the choice two card. This simultaneously brings up the second campaign which my leads can potentially go through. I can see my qualified audience will get an email and then the program status will change. So on a single screen, I am able to see the primary campaign as well as two other campaigns that are being called. Now with engagement map, you don’t need to build a chart of the customer journey in a separate tool before building out your interconnected campaigns in Marketo Engage. It is all done automatically for you within Marketo. With a simple visualization, you can easily communicate the customer journey to your stakeholders.
