- Unable to open or edit the site after setup.
Resolution resolution
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Create a new GitHub repository using Adobe’s AEM Boilerplate XWalk template for Edge Delivery Services.
- Integrate the AEM Code Sync application with your repository.
- Edit the fstab.yaml file to point to your AEM Author service URL.
- Define path mappings in the paths.json file to establish relationships between authoring paths and public website paths.
- Download the latest AEM Authoring with Edge Delivery Services Site Template from XWalk Boilerplate Releases.
- Sign in to your AEM as a Cloud Service authoring instance and navigate to Sites
>Sites Console. - Click Create, then select Site from Template.
- On the Select a site template tab, click Import and upload the downloaded site template.
- Once imported, select the template and click Next.
- Provide required fields such as site title (with prefix), site name, and GitHub URL of your created project, then click Create.
- Confirm that you see a pop-up indicating that a background job has been submitted for site creation; dismiss this message by clicking Okay.
- Confirm that a pop-up appears indicating a background job was submitted for site creation, then click Okay to dismiss it.
- Open index.html of your newly created site and click Edit in the toolbar.
- The Universal Editor should open in a new tab; sign in if prompted to begin editing your page.
- Verify that you can view and edit your site using Universal Editor.
