Hi, I’m Taylor Baker, Product Manager for the Data Insights agent in CJA. Today I’ll be playing the role of a marketer who’s trying to explore some of my data for the first time. Previously I’ve relied on data analysts at my company to answer my questions, but with the release of the Data Insights agent, I can now build analyses and answer those questions on my own. So let’s jump in. I’m interested in understanding the purchases that my business received last October. I’ll start by asking, show purchases last October. The Data Insights agent looks through all the data in the data view, including the different types of metrics and components, and translates my prompt to pick out the right dimension, metric, and date range for this analysis. As you can see, it automatically generates a freeform table that shows the correct time range, metric, and dimension. Taking it a step further, it selects the best visualization to showcase the data and answer my original prompt. Now I want to dig a little deeper into purchases data and compare purchases for a couple of months last year. I’ll just ask, compare purchases by product category from September 2024 to October 2024, and the Data Insights agent will show me the percent change between October and September for each product category. I want to switch topics and dig into some data on order quantity. I’d like to next understand how orders looked last December. So I’ll simply type, show orders last December by day of week. I can quickly see which days of the week in December had the highest order quantity. And I can see in this case that Sunday and Monday had the highest number of orders. And with that information, I can then start to dig into why Sunday and Monday had the highest orders. I’ll wrap this analysis up by looking at some store level data. I’ll type, proportion of profit by store name so far this year. The agent will quickly build a donut chart to represent the breakdown of profit by store name. And I can see of the stores with associated profit data that Houston is leading the pack. I’m excited that I’ve been able to answer my own data questions instead of relying on a data analyst in my company. And now I have a project of insights that I can share with my manager. That wraps up the preview of the data insights agent in CJ. Thank you for your time.
