Hey, what’s up everybody? This is Doug. In this video, I just want to talk for a couple minutes about the text visualizations and how and why to add them to your project. So I’ve got a project here and I’ve added a few text visualizations. Super easy. Just go over to the visualizations, right? Choose visualizations, go down, grab it, and then pop it in there. And then you can resize it, etc. like that. I’ve done that a few times. I got one on top there. Then I got one on the sides here. So, you know, if you actually grab this and resize it, you can resize it down to whatever size you want. I’m going to get rid of that one. So they come back up like this. So I created one here that is the same size as that. Now, by default, it doesn’t do that. By default, it’s more like this where it comes in. And when you click out of it, it will be as deep as you want it here. But if I wanted it to really line up with this so I could add other stuff and keep it in line, then you can always drag that down and make that, you know, the same size or at least ish, depending on what you have in there. So here’s a few things that are common to do with text visualizations. This one is showing an issue. You can see here there was an anomalous dip in revenue on January 9th. So I just, you know, typed in there and you can click into it if you want to change it. So maybe I take this and make it, you know, a larger heading. Let’s not make it too big. How about this big? And then you can even, you know, say, Bob, let’s get him a different color. And so, you know, that’s red or whatever, you know, we want to put in there and you can make it bigger and do whatever you want there to make that a little easier to read. And notice you can bring in an image if you want to and add it in there as well. When you’re done editing that, you can just click the submit button there or acceptance button and that’ll be good to go. Okay. Another thing besides just, you know, looking at issues or calling them out would be maybe even if you want some links. So in here we’ve got some different products, kind of my top five products. And I put a text visualization in here that has links in it. So the product detail pages or PDPs for these products are. And so I can click into that and we’ve got these URLs in here. But if I don’t want to do it that way and make people copy and paste it, then I can actually copy it, maybe even just command X and we’ll get rid of that like that. And we can just turn this into a link. And now I can go here and paste that in and save that. And now that can become a link. And that way they can just click on that instead of having to copy and paste the URL there. So you can add links. You can also decide, you know what, I’m going to make these into a list, ordered or not ordered here. And then, of course, you can accept that and make that a little bit easier there for people to work with. And then last thing I’ve done here at the top is just to give some instructions on this project. Right. So another good thing here to do is just to, you know, tell the users, the analysts that are going to use this project about some of the things that they’ll be able to do in here and some of the reports that they’re going to be able to look at. So just a few things in there, really anything you want to be able to do with the text visualization. So, you know, next time you’re sending a project out to people just before you send it out, maybe just take a minute and think, you know, would it help for me to put any kind of explanations in here, whether it’s for the entire dashboard or whether it is for individual reports and visualizations? Hope that was helpful and good luck.
