Hey everybody, this is Doug. In this video, I just want to show you a cool little feature that you can add to your time series data in Customer Journey Analytics. Now, when I talk about time series data, if you just kind of look down here at this freeform table, it is, you know, a series of time increments, in this case, days. Of course it could be, you know, weeks, months, et cetera. And the feature that you can add here is called forecasting. So if I scroll down here, you’ll be able to see that starting on March 23rd, 2024, which is actually tomorrow, as of the recording of this video, you’ll see that the numbers are here, but that they have this little icon next to it. And that is, again, because this is actually in the future, and you can see that the number here is not yet real, but forecasted. So you can see the forecasted numbers here. You can see them over here, and then you can see that they are indicated by the little forecasting icon right there. Now to turn this on, you can go into the project menu and then go down to user preferences, and we can go to freeform table, and we scroll down and we can see show forecast right there. So I’ve got that on, obviously, cancel out of that. Now, in addition to the freeform table here, if I scroll up, I added a line graph, and you can see that over here, this is then the current day, and then everything after this is forecasted. So you can also go into the settings for the line graph, and you can choose to show forecasting right there. So if I turn that off, you can see it’s now gone over there and turn it back on. There it is. And you can also then allow forecasting to scale the Y axis just to show it a little bit better. So if I say, no, I want it to be what it was before I added that, then I can click that, and it kind of moves it, maybe shows the rest of the data better. But if you’re gonna show the forecast data, I actually kind of like allowing this forecast data to scale the Y axis so that you can see it better and see it back there in a good spot. And that’s pretty much it. There’s more information about this in the documentation, but it can be used for things like, of course, planning, budgeting, risk management, those kinds of things, as you look ahead and try to make plans for future times. Anyway, hope this is helpful and that you enjoy the forecasting. Good luck.
