Before uploading images to Adobe Dynamic Media Classic, make sure they are the highest-quality size and format. Adobe Dynamic Media Classic recommends uploading high-quality images with a sufficient pixel count (from 1500 to 2000 pixels in the long size). This sizing allows for any Dynamic Imaging that is required.

Prepare your primary images for upload:

Prepare your primary image files before you upload them to Adobe Dynamic Media Classic:

  • Image size: Create the largest size images that you anticipate using. Typical image sizes range from 1500 to 2500 pixels in the longest size. If you intend to use the Zoom feature, Adobe Dynamic Media Classic recommends using images that are at least 2000 pixels in the longest size for optimal zoom detail. Adobe Dynamic Media Classic can render images up to 25 megapixels each. For example, you could use a 5000 × 5000 MP image or any other size combination up to 25 MP.

  • File formats: Adobe Dynamic Media Classic supports all standard image file formats. These formats include TIFF, BMP, JPEG, PSD, GIF, and EPS. Lossless image formats-TIFF and PNG-are recommended. If you are using a JPEG image, use the highest-quality settings.

  • Color space: RGB is the color space for Web image presentations; CMYK images commonly used for printing are automatically converted to RGB when you upload them. Uploading CMYK images that have an embedded ICC (International Color Consortium) color profile for the conversion to RGB is recommended. See also ICC (International Color Consortium) profiles.
