This page provides information about functionality that is included in the Third Quarter 2026 release scheduled for July 2026.
The enhancements on this page are available in the Preview environment. This page will be updated with additional enhancements as the Third Quarter 2026 release nears its planned Production release.

Desktop proofing viewer updates
Version 2.1.55
Production release for all customers: March 19, 2025
The Desktop Proofing Viewer has been updated to from 2.1.54 to 2.1.55. This update included internal tooling updates and did not impact end-user functionality.
This update is for both Mac and Windows.

API version 22
Workfront API version 22 was released on May 8, 2026. For API version 22, we’ve modified some resources and endpoints. Some of the changes support new functionality, and others make it easier for you to use the information available through the API.

Workfront Planning API version 2
Available for all customers: May 28, 2026.
Version 2 of Workfront Planning API is now available and it significantly expands the capabilities of Version 1. You can now create, update, and delete workspaces, record types, and fields programmatically, in addition to fully manage records.
Version 2 also brings improvements to URL structure, error handling, pagination, filtering, and permissions, in addition to including partial updates via PATCH, bulk record operations, and more.
Version 1 remains available, although we recommend you switch to using Version 2.
NOTE: The Workfront Planning connector for Fusion has not been updated to API Version 2 and it will continue to use Version 1 until further notice.

Workfront Planning Trial is closing
