Third Quarter 2026 Requests enhancements

This page describes Requests enhancements made with the Third Quarter 2026 release to the Preview environment. These enhancements will be made available in the Production environment as noted.

Matching request statuses between the legacy and the new request experience

To get more context about the correct state that your requests are in, we are updating statuses for requests in the new request experience.

Requests will display the same status in the new and legacy request experience for the following statuses:

Prior to this update, if a request was in the New or On Hold statuses in the legacy request experience list, it displayed as In progress in the new request experience list. Now, the statuses match for the two lists.

As part of this update, the “Completed” status has also been renamed to “Complete”.

Predefined views added to the requests list in the Requests area and the My Requests widget

To help you organize your request list better, we have added the following predefined views to the requests list in the Requests area and the My Requests widget in Home:

A Workfront administrator can add or remove the views from a layout template. You cannot edit, delete, or share the views. You can copy them and update or share a copy.
