Show enrichment content for selected products or categories
Use an enrichment document to show supporting content only for selected products or categories, rather than adding the same content to every page.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”- Ask your developer to complete Enrichment configuration.
- Open your project’s
enrichmentfolder and identify a working example, such asproduct-banner. - Choose the product SKUs or category identifiers you want to match. Your developer can confirm which values your project’s enrichment configuration accepts.
Create matching enrichment content
Section titled “Create matching enrichment content”- Duplicate the working document in the
enrichmentfolder and give the copy a name for your content. - Replace the example content with your own headings, text, images, or supported blocks.
- Update the document’s matching metadata with your chosen product SKUs or category identifiers. Retain the placement and other properties required by your project’s configuration.
- Preview and publish the enrichment document using your project’s authoring tools.
- Preview a matching product or category page and confirm that the content appears above or below the Commerce block as configured.
- Check a page that should not match and confirm that it does not show this content.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”Open the matching and nonmatching pages on the published storefront. If the content does not appear as expected, use the Enrichment troubleshooting guidance with your developer to check metadata, indexing, and configuration.
To show the same content on every product page using the shared template, follow Add supporting content to product pages.
