Action types
This page lists all supported actions within a tag rule. To create or edit the actions within a tag rule:
- Log in to experience.adobe.com using your Adobe ID credentials.
- Navigate to Data Collection > Tags.
- Select the desired tag property.
- Navigate to Rules, then select the desired rule.
- Under Actions, select an existing action or create an action.
- Set the Extension dropdown field to Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK, then select the desired Action Type.
The Web SDK tag extension offers the following actions:
- Apply propositions: Render propositions in single-page applications without incrementing metrics.
- Apply response: Perform an action based on a response from the Edge Network.
- Evaluate rulesets: Manually trigger a rulset evaluation.
- Get Media Analytics tracker: Export the legacy Media API to a window object.
- Redirect with identity: Allows the sharing of a visitor identifier across domains that you own.
- Send event: Sends event data to the Edge Network.
- Send media event: Sends media data to the Edge Network.
- Set consent: Sets the desired consent for the visitor.
- Update variable: Modifies a variable data element.
