Build pages
Authors build storefront pages by combining content with pre-built Commerce blocks in Document Authoring. Use these guides to understand the parts of a page, add blocks, control page and section settings, and change the labels shoppers see.
| Topic | Description |
|---|---|
| Page structure | |
| Content and Commerce blocks | Understand the two kinds of blocks and how they work together on a storefront page |
| Block table structure | Add a block and configure its key-value settings in a document |
| Page and layout settings | |
| Page metadata | Configure titles, descriptions, search settings, caching, social sharing, and Commerce properties |
| Section metadata | Control spacing, backgrounds, column widths, and other section-level layout options |
| Storefront text | |
| Labels and placeholders | Change button text, headings, messages, and other words shoppers see |
| Placeholder sheets | Find the sheet and keys that control each Commerce block’s labels |
When you need a specific shopping feature, use the Commerce block reference to find its block name, requirements, and available settings. If a change requires code or a new layout option, see Author and developer tasks.
