This page provides information about functionality that is included in the Third Quarter 2025 release scheduled for July 2025.

The enhancements on this page are available in the Preview environment. This page will be updated with additional enhancements as the Third Quarter 2025 release nears its planned Production release.

IMPORTANT

Monthly and quarterly releases are planned to be available on the Thursday of the second full week of the month, unless otherwise specified.

Desktop Proofing Viewer Update

This update is an issue fix to keep the Desktop Viewer compatible with Mac operating systems. Electron was downgraded to 34.4.0 and Chromium was downgraded to 132.

Assets in a linked Google folder must be added individually to appear in Workfront

[Off schedule]{class="badge neutral"}

Google is enhancing security controls for third-party applications accessing Google Drive, requiring applications to adopt a per-user consent model. As a result, individual assets must be linked one at a time to be visible in Workfront. See Configure document integrations for more information.

New document approval decision buttons available in proofing viewer

The new document approval decision buttons now appear in the proofing viewer. Now, when you create a simple proof and then add approvers and reviewers from the Document summary, they can make their decision directly inside the proofing viewer.

User wildcards no longer return results with a null value when filtering

We have updated the user wildcard behavior to exclude null value when filtering a report. This change helps the filter produce more accurate results, rather than returning results that do not have a user configured correctly (a null result).

Modified experience when adding people to comments

To achieve improved performance, we have introduced a modified experience when adding people to comments. Now, the "Tag people or teams" link remains persistent in the Comment box, after you start adding users or teams to the comment.

Minor updates to the look and feel of various areas of the Adobe Workfront application are being made within the Third Quarter 2025 release timeframe.

Production release: A minimum of 2 weeks after releasing to Preview (unless otherwise specified)

Interface modernization

We are updating the interface throughout Adobe Workfront to improve the user experience and unify it with other Adobe applications. These changes are released outside the standard release schedule. For a list of these changes, see Interface Modernization.
