Create a Canvas Dashboard

IMPORTANT
The Canvas Dashboards feature is currently only available for users participating in the beta stage. Parts of the feature may not be complete or work as intended during this stage. Please submit any feedback regarding your experience by following the instructions in the Provide feedback section in the Canvas Dashboards beta overview article.

Please note that this beta is not available on the following cloud providers:
  • Bring Your Own Key for Amazon Web Services
  • Azure

With Canvas Dashboards, you can create and add reports to a customizable dashboard to quickly visualize your account data.

Prerequisites

Canvas Dashboards must be enabled on the layout template configuration of the Dashboards page left navigation items.

Create a dashboard

Canvas Dashboards offer a wide variety of options and configurations that you can use when building a dashboard. In this section, we will walk you through the general process of creating a dashboard.

  1. Click the Main Menu icon Main Menu in the upper-right corner of Adobe Workfront, or (if available), click the Main Menu icon Main Menu in the upper-left corner, then click Dashboards.

  2. In the left panel, click Canvas Dashboards.

  3. Click New Dashboard in the top-right corner.

  4. In the Create dashboard box, enter the dashboard’s Name and Description.

  5. Click Create. The Add report box opens. From here, you can create a new report or add an existing report to the dashboard.

Add a report to a dashboard

Once a dashboard is created, the next step is adding your reports to it. You can do this by either creating a report from scratch in the Canvas Dashboards section or adding an existing one.

There are 3 types of reports you can create in Canvas Dashboards:

  • KPI: This report displays your key performance indicator data as a number.

  • Chart: This report displays your data as a bar, column, line, or pie chart.

  • Table: This report displays your data in a table format.
    For more, see Build a table report.
