Use unlocked statuses in an approval processes
This feature was removed from the 22.3 Production release. This feature is planned to release to Production at a future time.
To give you more control over the approval processes and statuses in your system, we've made it possible to create an approval process based on an unlocked system status. Moreover, you can now unlock any status that is already used in an approval process. Previously, a system status used in an approval process had to be locked. This made it available for all groups—without the possibility of removing or renaming it—so group administrators couldn't streamline their group's list of statuses to fit their specific needs.

Keep accurate information when two users with a common role are involved in an approval process
To ensure accuracy of your data for approving work, we have made a change in the way approval information is recorded on an item when a multi-role approval process is associated with the item.
Some approval processes require approval from two different roles, and two different approvers might have one of those roles in common. Now when this happens, after the approval decisions are made, Workfront records each approver and their respective role associated with the approval process.
Prior to this change, both approvals were recorded for the second user because they shared one of the approval roles with the first approver. In this case, the second approver was overwriting the first approver's information.

Enable automatic refresh token rotation in your custom OAuth2 applications
To allow you more control over the security of your custom OAuth2 applications, we've added to option to enable refresh token rotation. When this option is enabled, every time a refresh token is used, your application automatically creates and sends a new refresh token, and disables the old one.
Your application must store the new refresh token after every refresh. Workfront does not store this refresh token.
Previously, refresh tokens expired after a set amount of time configured in the custom OAuth2 application settings.

Use PKCE in your custom OAuth2 integrations for Single-page web applications
You can now create Single-page web applications in your custom integrations using PKCE. PKCE is a secure authorization flow that works well with dynamically refreshing applications such as mobile apps, but is valuable across all OAuth2 clients. Instead of a static client secret, PKCE uses a dynamically generated string, eliminating the risk of a leaked client secret.
Previously, the available options for custom OAuth2 applications used either a user's name and password, or a client secret.
