This page provides information about functionality for Workfront Goals in the new Adobe Workfront experience that is releasing to the Production environment with the 20.4 release.

Usability improvements for Workfront Goals

We continue to make improvements to the way you use Workfront Goals based on the feedback we receive from you. We added the following usability improvements:

  • Updated the experience of printing a list of goals with a more intuitive Print link in the Goal List section.

    For information about printing goals, see “Print the Goal List in Adobe Workfront Goals”.

    NOTE
    The functionality to print goals has been deprecated and removed from Workfront.

  • Added additional information about Results and Activities in the Goal Details panel, so you can clearly understand the difference between them.

  • Added information about not being able to update a past goal in the Goal Details panel.

  • Improved error messages and warnings when deleting or editing the only progress indicator of a goal.

Access Controls for Workfront Goals

You can now limit access to Workfront Goals in the access levels. You can give users No Access, or access to View or Edit information in Workfront Goals. This access is available for all license types except for External. Prior to this improvement, all users had edit access to all goals.

Workfront Goals usability improvements

Based on the feedback we have received so far, we have made the following improvements in the Add Goal and the Goal Details panels:

  • Redesigned the Activate and Check in buttons in the Goal Details panel to make them more prominent
  • Removed the “and create new” checkbox option in the Add Goal panel
