Audience Manager can be configured to expire passwords every 30-days. Talk to your Audience Manager consultant or Customer Care if you want to enable password expiry. Refer to this section for password requirements and how to recover a lost or forgotten password.
Password Requirements
To be valid, your Audience Manager password must meet the following requirements:
Passwords must:
- Begin and end with an alphanumeric character.
- Contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase character.
- Contain at least one number.
- Contain at least one special character (colons excluded).
- Consist of Latin alphabet letters only.
Passwords must not contain:
- Your first name or last name.
- Your email address or Adobe user ID.
- Consecutive letters or numbers.
- Sequential letters or numbers.
- Commonly used passwords.
For information about resetting your password, see Edit Your Account Settings.
Account Lockout
For security, Audience Manager temporarily rate-limits repeated failed sign-in attempts. If you exceed the limit, Audience Manager blocks further sign-in attempts for a short period, then automatically allows them again. You do not need to contact an administrator or a Partner Services representative to unlock your account.
Lost/Forgotten Password
Select Forgot password on the sign-in page to reset your password. Audience Manager sends you an email with a link to reset your password. Select the link, then create a new password that meets the password requirements. The link works only once.
New Account Setup
When an administrator creates your account, Audience Manager sends you an email with a link to set your password. Select the link, then create a password that meets the password requirements. You must set your password before you can sign in for the first time.
