Component availability in data feeds
AVAILABILITY
The functionality described in this article is in the Limited Testing phase of release and might not be available yet in your environment. This note will be removed when the functionality is generally available. For information about the Customer Journey Analytics release process, see Customer Journey Analytics feature releases.
Not all Customer Journey Analytics components can be used in data feeds. Some dimensions are included in every data feed, some components cannot be included, and some metrics must be replaced with a substitute.
Use the following information to understand which components you can include when you create a data feed.

Dimensions that cannot be used together incompatible-dimensions
Certain dimensions cannot be used together in Experience Platform datasets. A data feed can include dimensions from one of the following groups, but not from both:

The User agent and Mobile ID dimensions.

Device lookup dimensions, such as browser, mobile device, and operating system dimensions. For the full list, see Device lookup dimensions.
This restriction also applies to derived fields that reference these dimensions.
NOTE
If you use the Web SDK, this restriction is enforced in datastreams before data arrives in an Experience Platform dataset. For more information, see Configure device lookup in Create and configure datastreams in the Data Collection guide.
Resolve dimension conflicts
When you add dimensions that cannot be used together (including derived fields that reference these dimensions), a dialog appears that lists which dimensions will be added and which will not be added or will be removed. The following table shows what happens, depending on where the conflict is:

The device lookup dimensions in your selection (and derived fields that reference them) are not added. The rest of your selection is added to the data feed.
To keep the data feed unchanged, select Cancel.

The following dimensions (and any derived fields that reference them) cannot be included in the same data feed as the User agent or Mobile ID dimensions.
