In a layout template, you can pin the pages that you want users to always have available at the top of Adobe Workfront. These can be either pages accessed via the Main Menu or dashboards.
Any pins that your users have added on their own are displayed to the right of the pins you add in the layout template.
For more information about pinning pages, see Pin pages to customize your workspace.
For more information about layout templates, see Create and manage layout templates.
For information about layout templates for groups, see Create and modify a group’s layout templates.
After configuring a layout template, you must assign it to users for changes you made to be visible to others. For information about assigning a layout template to users, see Assign users to a layout template.
You must have the following access to perform the steps in this article:
|Adobe Workfront plan||Any|
|Adobe Workfront license||Plan|
|Access level configurations||
To perform these steps at the system level, you need the System Administrator access level. To perform them for a group, you must be a manager of that group.
NOTE: If you still don't have access, ask your Workfront administrator if they set additional restrictions in your access level. For information on how a Workfront administrator can modify your access level, see Create or modify custom access levels.
Begin working on a layout template, as described in Create and manage layout templates.
Under Top navigation area, click Add new pin.
In the drop-down menu that appears, do either of the following:
Click a Main Menu item.
Click Add a Dashboard, then type a descriptive Custom section title and add the dashboard.
Repeat the previous step to pin any other pages.
(Optional) To rename a pin, hover over the pin, click the arrow next to the pin name, and select Rename pin. Type the new pin name, and click the check mark icon or press Enter.
A small pop-up window appears for several seconds after you click the check mark or press Enter, allowing you to undo the pin name change before it is saved.
Continue customizing the layout template.
If you are finished customizing, click Save.
You can click Save at any time to save your progress, then continue to modify the template later.
